Who actually uses the Dynamics GP Multi-Tenant feature?

We are not a hosting provider but recently I had a request from one of my customer who is interested in hosting their GP. So I started doing some research about dedicated server vs. shared server with shared SQL server (Multi-tenancy) vs. shares server with separate SQL Server instance.  Going deeper into the research I had more questions than answers. But thanks to Steve Endow @ GP Land (MVP Microsoft Dynamics GP)  for his investigative article about “Who actually uses the Dynamics GP Multi-Tenant feature?”.  This article provides us a clear picture of how these hosting providers are utilizing the Multi-tenancy feature Microsoft Dynamics launched along with GP 2013 release.
